qustion on how to achieve a natural look carpet

tanong lang mga sir kung ano bang diskarte sa ganitong carpet? it looks different from vrayfur and displacement. baka meron kaung idea... share namn... tia

bro try mo ang alpha mattes (black and white mattes) kung alam mo gamit most likely ang medium tweaker mo ay sa PS (photoshop) into gray scales value then apply mo. dapat macontrol mo over the matte ang length ng strands at kung san makapal at kung san din less like sa peg mo... in Sas lightwave3d parameter ganyan ang ginagawa ko at same logic procedure din with video layering over masking effect... hope it helps .!!! mine is another, i would rather create it in hair and fur with with dynamics and collision.
