windows 7 and vray sp2

hi cgp pips.. i would just like to ask whether vray sp2 is compatible for windows 7. i have a windows 7 32bit os... i installed 3dsmax 2009 and it was installed perfectly.. though the vray sp2 did not...

when i opened a file... it says it has missing .dll like the vray sun, vrayphysical cam...

hmmm.. pano kaya to? me mali po ba sa procedure ko...

please help. tnx.

Hello po .. so far wala po akong issue sa vray sa windows 7 .. gamit ko po ang RTM version build 7600 .. make sure na updated din ang version ng windows 7 nyo ..

im using both 32bit at 64bit na windows 7 .. at running ang 3dsmax 2009 2010 ... vray 1.5 sp2 tapos vray 1.5 sp3a naman sa 2010 ..

kindlyreinstall ulit baka may corrupt files lng ang installer nyo. hope nake help ..

sir, ganito din po ngyayari s kin..s windows vista nga lng..successful din daw po ung installation ng both v-ray & 3dmax pero walang lumalabas n vray camera & sun.. need help po.. i'm not that tekki pgdating s mga software installations..

Run 3ds max as administrator by right clicking it and choosing run as administrator.

@lioness - nangyari na din sakin yang prob na yan. try to reinstall lng. check kng kng 32 bit ang or 64 bit ang iniinstall mong vray na plugin. kng 32bit ang system mo dapat 32 din ang vray na iinstall mo.

*to check kng 32 or 64 ang system:
control panel-->system and security. sa baba ng "system" makikita mo dun kng 32 or 64bit ang system mo.

sir ewan ok b kng e2 b un... ksi gnito gnawa sa ka kilala ko windows 7 cya....max2009+sp2 gnawa nya tutn off the user account control (UAC)....
na install poh....try nyo lng poh.... thumbsup

mga bro nangyari din sakin last week yan nung nag install ako ng windows 7, may nag advice sakin na pag nag install ka ng vray run as an administrator, then pag nag open ka ng 3dsmax run din as an administrator...you don't have to turn off the UAC....it works for me. thumbsup
