The word Japayuki means "bound to Japan. This animated feature tells a love story of a Pilipina and a Samurai in the 17th century... the same time when Lorenzo Ruiz was martyred.

We'll talk more about it in detail soon. In the meantime nothing excites me than seeing the master storyteller Ron Sapinoso wave his magic wand again. The wrangler is renewed and excited, you should.

I just heard of this from a fellow CGP-er kayat ngayon ko lng na check. I apologize though, I see how noble the cause is but I am too busy to lend some of the little talent I have due to work and some ongoing personal projects too.

But I do wish you well on this endeavor and will eagerly wait and see for the final output... kahit aabutan ng taon, andyan pa rin ako...

Thanks eyecone and fortyone. Japayuki is just one of the ideas I and Ron have in mind so if we find another theme worth doing, I would be happy to make this one wait and do the other. I do not give ourselves a fixed timeframe because we both want to enjoy doing it and learn in the process as well.

Take this announcement not just a premier for a particular title but an expression of my desire to work with Ron. And when I say I'll do it, I'll do it no matter how long or how far it takes me.
