Nice concept! Suggestion ko lang sana nilagyan mo ng depth yung foreground. What I mean by that is making things in your foreground darker in value in comparison to your middleground and background which are relatively lighter. That way you can suggest contrast, depth, and distance. Mas darker sa foreground kasi mas-malapit sa atin.

The first image you see is your image in grayscale. The second one is where I made adjustments. Basically, I just darkened the foreground and receded some elements into the background like the jungle vines at the top right. You'll now notice that your focus is on the creature and the little flying insect. When I look at the original my eyes started to go everywhere like on the really dark jungle vines and especially at the stuff in the foreground that's another reason why I darkened it. Pag-isipan mo kung saan mo gusto i-focus yung mata ng mga viewers. Prioritize mo yung focal point/s mo. Yung mga detalye, secondary na yun kasi they're not as important. Parang sa movie may lead actors ka and supporting actors. Syempre yung focus ng kwento nasa leads mo. Yung supporting actors pang-support! Smile Bigyan mo ng visual hierarchy yung bawat elements ng picture mo. Yung nasa taas ng hierarchy syempre mas-importante kaysa sa iba.

Anyway, good luck with your other work!

hi
nice suggestion you have ^_^; thank you so much

but honestly, respecting the title and the concept as well
i have to show also the rock on the ground 'cause if you caught the humor
of this, its entitled "small, Big & BIGBIG"
the subjects here are not just that wispy creature and the sliver/rat kind
of creature but also the feet of the giant which i technically where that wispy creature is looking (above), thats why i need to show those fingernails on detail also.. if youre eyes are vigilant also, youve seen that on the first look... ^_^;

but anyways thanks sa suggestion ulit bro, it will really help.. ^_^;

That's a good idea of a concept. but honestly, it's hard to tell. lalo na pag madami ang focus. a good illustration is something that could lead an audience to a specific focus/subject, thus making the art understandable. good luck! Smile

Oh, now that you've mentioned it, I didn't notice the feet at all, LOLz. so thats why its Big big... nice concept dude... I should have looked at it more intently. although the advice you got was pretty solid too...

haha
i did it intentionally not to over notify the feet of the BIGBIG thing to test how artists connects my title to the elements i did..
i usually ask my friends to locate the bigbig thing everytime i share this to them. but here i didnt mind explaining everything that's around in this piece to see the overviews of different great great pinoy artists.. hehe

and i remember i have its deadline for the La Salle's exhibit before so i have to rush everything without knowing that some adjustments are already disregarded and left unnoticed.. so now i got lots of great great criticismsssss hehehe and i love it! thanks sa lahat! ^_^;

and lastly the title was inspired from the commercial BIG BOY, with two kids talking about this bubble gum thing.. hehe

thanks guyss!!!! guitarhero
