reminder to dads like me
First topic message reminder :
i know a lot of people had read this.. but again a good reminder for us dads....
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door...
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know.. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.. '
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy..
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives..

Re: reminder to dads like me
To All:
Simple reminder about what I just shared regarding The Secret: Law of Attraction... Our Brother Nomer just called my attention regarding the awkward facts and concept of this. Please forgive me if I didn't know much of this. Like I mentioned, I am not totally aware of all the contents. Our only advice is that no matter how effective this Law of Attraction to us, we need to understand and know that everything comes through Christ, and again, I would like to emphasize that our Lord Jesus is the answer to our dreams... He makes us realize and visualize them... all I thought was that the "secret" is some sort of discovering the virtues and righteousness, which is God and Jesus' way and thru their ways and will we can achieve great things... Anyway, when we come across this Law of Attraction, we must not forget all these pointers I just mentioned.
Please wait for Borther Nomer's reaction and comment on this one...
We stick on the topic, all this law of attraction stuff is to be dedicted to God, for the best of our family and love ones... everything that is achieved in the right and good way and thru Jesus Christ is a blessing and gift. We all consider our family as blessings and gift to us from above!

hi there, you are so right... and most of the time kailangan natin ng mukha to talk to our bosses straight and tell them the right things, or at least how we feel... I still couldn't get enough courage to do this though.
anyway, I think my boss is still ok, it is the way of our company which is I say na walang puso,... di kasi makatao yun pagpapatakbo nila, wala silang compassionate sa mga tao nila... dami ng bese ipinakita nila na wala silang concern sa iba, at sa dami ng inalis nila only because for them wala ng use, where in fact, as a team leader in my department, alam ko na kaylangan pa yun mga tinanggal... only because only a few of us are left useful for them, yun iba ala na sila pakiaalam, that's why I told my coworkers, kahit na alam ko isa ako sa gusto ng company na iretain at ikeep, aalis pa din ako, to show them that they don't just treat people wrongly, they need to realize too that they need people and not just throw them away when they're done with them.
hehe medyo seryoso na ata to OT natin...

Re: reminder to dads like me
it was just the basic of how u control your life using your brain.. unconsciously.
think Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung and their theories ...
it was like getting what you want.. if u put your heart in it, you will surely get it.. No doubts and No negative thoughts
i knew this long long ago.. they just sensationalize the concept to gain money.. my mother is psychologist, kaya i read her books ...
if u want something, picture it in your hands ...
lets say for example, u want a new phone, get a picture of it and post it wherever you can always see it.. like on ur cork board.. basta un lagi mo sya makikita.. before u know it, meron ka na nun..
it happens.. you just have to believe..
OT na noh???

Hehe... OT na nga... but well said. ganun na nga concept! sakto... pero syempre para sa mga nkararaming believers, we couple it with prayers para maachieve yun specific dream na yun and of course kung pano natin idedicate and achievements natin...
