trapjaws killer smile(finally Done pg3)

hi gud day .i just started another work-in-progress model.its trapjaw from He-man(man, im so old).it brings back memories modeling this character.basemesh and render is pure blender but for the test detailing is zbrush.theres still a lot to go. i hope to finish this character in 2 weeks time and an extra week for rigging.

Aw, mino-model mo n agad un topology before sculpting? Ako kc proportional modeling lng muna sa umpisa using maya and zb (without thinking about topology yet) tpos zbrush for high poly details. Tpos pg ok na ko sa high poly, resurface ko sya in maya using draster nex.. Dun ko na icpin about topology and polycount budget.. Anyway, kanya2 workflow yan eh.. Ako kc png-videogame workflow gngmit ko hehe.. Galing sir dude!!

pwede mo i-try ung blender since freeware sya. nagustuhan ko ung fluid simulation nun kc sobrang daling gumawa ng water effect. d ko lang gusto sa blender is yung UI nya medyo hndi user-friendly unlike 3dsmax, maya or XSI (or sanayan lang talaga), but it has a lot of tutorials in their own website so that will help. and its free

@fortyone: coming from a maya user,it was a hard transition but if you put a lot of heart into it and view the 3d softwares as mere tools, then the transition will become bearable.
@kakashi: ur right on the money dude.the mere fact that maya.3ds max is very much expensive, blender would be the only choice for me

its been long since i have an update but i finally nailed down the right robot arm of trap jaw. i must say this is the most painful modeling experience and i hope not to do it again. :cry:
