But for those who can't afford to go to an expensive school..this is my advice..as a beginner get a 2D or 3D software that you think it was suitable for you..then get an essential tutorial for that software...no worries there are a lot of free sites where you can get them...then try to learn how to model, texture, rig, and animate...you can begin with your own work with a blueprint if your not good enough in sketching..just search the web and you can find a lot of blueprint and tutorials for free.. "don't let your dreams die in poverty" Be inspired and no worries there are so many successful 2D and 3D artist who are self-taught..by the way learning is not easy as eating so be patient and i am also a self-taught... i spend 12 hours in my room learning those stuff..good luck and godspeed

CSB has a good faculty of teachers that are very knowledgeable in animation. Don't know if Daniel the Zoid addict is still there teaching.

I'm a a student in CIIT College of Arts..they have cool teachers who really love arts..many of the 3d instructor are working in Anino Games, our school partner.

They will teach you everything you need to know from basic to intermediate. They use 3Ds Max for 3D and they also teach blender.

If you really want to learn 3D this is a good school for you.
I enrolled in CIIT because i need a diploma to find a job and now im taking it's Bachelor degree. I first learned 3D in First Academy of Computer Arts but did'nt found a job after that..they are using Maya.

But! not everything you need to know to be a good artist will be teach in school..you also need to be resourceful to be that good. I'm telling you this because before i enrolled in CIIT i already know what they are teaching because of watching tutorials. I'm doing project that sometimes even our instructor tell me that it's already advance.

Instructor in CIIT really know what they're doing and they are professionals in their respective field of expertise. Hope this one helps.
