Revisiting Escolta

First topic message reminder :

We're currently in production of a documentary on early philippine cinema. The whole film takes place at Manila, Escolta since it was there that the first film showing took place in the Philippines. We hope to finish the project before 2009 (hopefully by the end of November).

Anyway, here's a collection of works I'm doing for the project. Some are still WIPs, as I can't finish them all due to my very hectic schedule and since I'm the only 3D artist working for the project. Oh and btw, the film's length is approx. 90 minutes. 30 mins of that is going to be CG animation. AGH i need help XD

Made everything w/ 3dsmax. Renderer - Scanline.
I apologize if some of the images are too dark. My monitor's brightness is set to a very high level. XD

Gumamit lang ako ng superspray instanced w/ a plane na nag-aanimate ang bend parameter, then space-warped w/ wind, gravity, at deflectors.

Ang hirap magmukhang paper, paano kaya siya magreact talaga sa environment? para magdedepent yung bend position nya sa tama nya sa deflectors... Tinry ko gawing cloth sila sa reactor pero minimal ang movement nila...w00t pag e-experimentan ko muna ito hanggang makuha. XD

astig ser grave la ak masabi.lag-lag ang mata ko ser.kung ako siguro gagawa nyan it takes lifetime cguro.

We are entering the final stage!! Complete na! Super duper mini micro refinements adjustments dagdag ng accoutrements na lang.
After half a year natatapos na rin ang project hehehe. Kulang pa nga sa time eh, dapat 1 year the making nito. Sayang pinapamadali kasi kami, yan tuloy nagsusuffer yung quality ng project. Ito guys, preview ng mga cg works so far sa docu namin

Thanks bros! Salamat sa praise heeheehee, although yung Vray rendershindi pa gaano perfect. Tinest ko lang kung ano mukha ng scene pag nilagay sa vray eh...so marami pang problema like blurry textures etc.
