2. High resolution
3. Comfortable for rendering.

meron din mga 9k+ pesos ang Samsung sir. mas ok na brand yun.

worth it ba? I mean with regards to shipping fee + tax sa customs
tsaka parang hindi din advisable, baka sa byahe mabugbog yung LCD mo, tapos pag dating sa bahay nyo ay meron ng physical damage. tsaka pano yung warranty incase na may problema? yun lang yung mga ilang concerns ko.

for gaming and movie: buy a lcdtv, look for high contrast ratio, black is black.. HD1080p and HDready is a different thing specially for displays ranging from 42" and up..

i recommend sony, "like no other", pricey but almost perfect output to my eye.. if you want vivid colors and glossy design, go for samsung.

for work and websurfing: buy a lcd monitor, i prefer dell > asus > samsung matte panels.. stay away from glossy panels, because it fakes the real color output of your renders and because i hate fingerprints on my screen :p

the golden rule in buying lcdtv/monitor is compare it side by side... magkakaiba kasi panlasa ng mga mata natin.

i'm also looking for a monitor for my son. the best (value for money) i've gathered so far is an LG brand (19" only), having a contrast ratio of 50,000:1 (apple LED CD only has 1,000:1) and response time of 2ms (apple LED CD only at 14ms). perhaps not worth comparing since apple is an LED. if you are looking for a larger dimension model (22" or more) pretty sure they have a model with the same specs. in terms of comfort for rendering, i guess it can be adjusted to your liking and you will have the advantage of viewing better high dynamic details due to its high contrast rating. i still have reservations using LED displays for cg production, maybe yes for viewing final output.

guys,im planning to buy another monitor. but i want to make sure that its worth it.

1. sino dito gumagamit ng Apple Cinema Display on our pc/windows rigs? give us feedback.
2. Apple Cinema Display or other brand (dell,samsung,asus) LED monitor? alin yung madali adjust yung gamma?

anyone know about IPS,PVA and TN monitor? ano pag kaka iba iba nyan?which one is best to use on our industry? im curently using asus 26inch, medyo masakit na mata ko dito.
