Clash of the Titans Redux - 2010!

Pretty neat - like a combi of 300-Troy-LOTR with some ripoffs from Guillermo del Toro. The soundtrack would have been better with something more epic instead of a heavy metal song.

I don't know if it's just me but I don't think it's fair to visually (visual effects) compare the two versions of the film. I mean given the 80's technology and a workforce of 2 people for modeling, animation and optical compositing, the original film doesn't deserve _that.

Trailer looks great. I have to agree that the soundtrack of choice for the trailer kinda' takes away the mythology effect of the picture. Also, the actors like Liam Neeson doesn't have that God of gods look. I don't know if it's only the audio effect or the route the art/costume design dept took but the look doesn't sit well for a larger than life sexually adventurous god. Creatures, effects and set design are stunning.

of course man. when i watched the original the impact it made was different. different place different time.

the question is if you had a choice between the two - what would you watch? remains to be seen though.

seen the original... loved it ( meaning natakot ako nung bata pa ako at di makatulog ng ilang araw... ) and seen the new trailer and Loving it more!

I would say... watch the original first then you would love the new one more!

Napanood ko ito sa sine, 1st high school na ako noon, nagcutting classes pa nga ako hehe.... halos kasabay din nito ang canon the barbarian, basta uso ang ganitong movie that time.... abangan ko to.... thanks
