just a try:
- there isnt enough light to fill in some black and gray spots all over the space thats why it turned out to be grainy in some way
(and my advice, shed some light)
- tweak down your noise threshold from the default 0.01 to 0.005-0.001
- jack up your hemispheric subdivs (hsph) of your irradiance map (if youre using it) from the default 30 (guess so) to 80 max
- might want to include interpolation subidvs (interp) of your irr map from the default 30 (guess so ulit) to 60 max
if you've got powerful rig, you can jack up those subdivs and noise thresold to its max limit, 100's for the subdivs and 0.001 for the noise thresold.... hope these helps goodluck

Re: Vray for Sketchup Q&A

Re: Vray for Sketchup Q&A
any images to explain. what is yur setting. probably dark blotches. my quick guess ay mga areas na hindi na reach out. its hard to explain pero yung vray maraming sampling na ginagawa. at isa nito ay ang tinatawag na adaptive sampling sa mga dark areas.. tingnan mo ang adaptive amount mo sa DMC sampler. kung 1 sya palitan mo ng 0.85. yung default ng vray 1.0 ay 1, pero sa 1.05 ay .85 na.
kalawa kung irradiance map, taasan mo yung hsph subd mo.
so one at atime siguro muna a t tingan mo kung anung nagyari.
