IRON MAN project UPDATE 05
First topic message reminder :
ito muna yung pinakahuling hard surface na gagawin ko, pagkatapos nito babalik na ko sa organic modeling at sa zbrush.
pangatlong araw ko na tong gingawa.
check images lang to (test render para sa model) yung lahat ng nasa render nito nasa 21k na yung polycount ang estimate ko mga 80k o higit pa pag nabuo na siya.
gagawan ko siya ng texture maps at bumps para sa mga detalye kasama na yung mga turnilyo at holes hindi mo kasi magagawan ng mga dust effects at scratches pag procedural lang yung texture bale itong temporary texture na nasa render eh mental ray car paint material lang ng maya,masyado siyang reflective medyo mahirap i-tweak yung attributes niya.
sa mental ko nirender tong check images,ang plano ko sa v-ray for maya ko gagawin yung final.
nahirapan akong kopyahin ng sakto yung nasa movie kasi hirap makahanap ng magagandang reference kaya imbento nalang yung mga detalye ng parts.inaral ko din kung pano ko siya imomodel nang pwede kong mai-rig, saka ko nalang aayusin yung proportions at allignment ng details pag nabuo na tsaka yung mga parts na pangit yung deformation.
next na post ko may kamay at paa na.pero wala pang texture maps.

walang magawa ngayong araw kaya nagrender ako ng ironman na nakapose ,tapos yung isa nilagyan ko ng bg na photo,
pinagiisipan ko kung pano yun aayusin aayusin yung prob sa tuhod wala kong maisip na solusyon kung rigid bind rigging gagamitin ko.pero meron naman akong ideya.

This is truly great work, almost looks as good as the one in the movie poster. Just a question, saan mo nirender yun final, vray ba? Anu advantages ng vray sa mental ray pag bakal ang nirerender mo? May HDRI ka din ba ginamit, or balik ka sa car paint shader mo para sa latest render? It's great to see someone as good as you are not even working in metro manila area, marami na ba studio dyan sa zambales...

romanredice- salamat man, madami pa ko ulit nabago at nadagdag sa model.

TeddyL- mental ray sir ginamit ko, hindi pa naman final WIP pa din, experiment lang yung may bg. sa final t-try kong irender sa vray for maya o kaya render man, ginamitan ko siya ng HDRI na ni-blur at dinesaturate ko sa photoshop. yung metal shader naman pang base texture lang yun, wala pa kasing texture maps.
ang totoo 6 months na kong unemployed kaya nasa Zambales ako, walang studio dito sir.
salamat sir sa pagdaan.
