mag canon ka na. we have both 1000d and 450d. mas mabilis kasi ang response time nya after mo iclick. my friend has a d3000. maganda din pro may mga limits ang nikon pag entry level na cameras. like yung auto focus sa ibang lenses at mabagal na preview.

Meejan-youre welcome bro..Pero if you can still put more money dont go for entry level. Mas ok sa low light, high ISO and more frames per seconds. thumbsup

Sad but i really have to agree to sir celes...

Read this..

http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d3000.htm Wink

"Buy a D40 instead, while you still can."

The D40 is a significantly better camera (and I haven't even gotten to how the D40 has a sync speed over twice as fast as the D3000), and the D40 costs less.

The only advantage of the D3000 is that it has more pixels, but considering how I have no problems making great 20 x 30" (50 x 75cm) prints from my D40 with its kit lens, I wouldn't get a D3000 for that.

maraming salamat po ulit sir jeff.. i agree sir, i think i have to wait and work for more to get a upper entry level or a mid range dslr, and if thats the case maybe ill go on for a nikon d5000 , nearly similar to the more sophisticated d90, with live view and hd video and same 12mp sensor. kaysa sa magupgrade ako after ko sa entry level..ill take your advice sir jeff.thankyou..

check mo ang cost diff ng D5000 vs. D90. pag maliit, go for the D90 kasi ang D5000 doesnt autofocus with non AF-S lenses. ang cost difference ng AF vs AF-S lenses are huge.

also the HD video kuning is not as good as one would think. i know because i own a D90.

Sir celes- im just wondering if its better to buy a dedicated video cam if you really need one..Diba mas ok yun kaysa built in sa camera. I dont know.Im not really sure bakit kailangan ng video cam sa mga slrs.. Question

master jeff, based on the nikon versions of video capable DSLRS it's better to get a dedicated video cam if you are aiming for quality videos. all the functions are there, including AF tracking and true HD sensors. Plus the audio recording is way better for camcorders. we are using a legria and it is far superior to the D90's clumsy video recording. HD daw, but it's smeary, and u need to manually focus it.

that's why when the eos 7D came out i was curious about it - because if the quality is that good, the advantage of a DSLR based video is the capability to change lenses.
